The Young Victoria is a beautiful film. I saw it quite awhile ago, in England, but it is only just recently been released in theaters in the U.S. The story is about Victoria, who in the course of the film, becomes the Queen of England. It is also the love story of the Queen and Prince Albert. Young Victoria is a great role model for young girls. She shows determination, courage, and a great sense of self.
Victoria and Albert are played by Emily Blunt and Rupert Friend. They both did a great job, but I especially loved Emily Blunt in this role. The film has received three Oscar Nominations including: Best Art Direction, Best Costume Design, and Best Makeup. I highly recommend seeing it.
