My 2011 Non-Goals

The fabulous and talented Erin of Design For Mankind has started a non-goal revolution. What are non-goals, you ask? Non-goals are things that you would like to keep doing and things you are doing well. What a great concept! At a time when we are trying to re-focus it's also important to remember what you're doing right.

A few other bloggers have joined Erin in writing their non-goals and I've been inspired to do the same. Without further ado, my non-goals for 2011.

~ Continue investing in yourself. Knowledge and experiences are definitely worth it.

~ You've relied on your faith to get you through difficult times. Never forget that.

~ Spending quality time with your Mom and brother has been a great blessing. Appreciate this time.

~ Keep traveling. It inspires you and it brings you joy. Continue to make it a priority.

~ You have cut down on Diet Coke. Drinking it primarily on Chik-fil-a days with Sarah.

~ You started a business this past year even though you were scared. Always pursue your dreams.

Fall Pictures in NY

Z+D+C+R+M

I love to photograph Z, D, C, R, and M. I've watched their family expand from two children to five and it's been fun to see them grow up. They are the sweetest kids and they're all beautiful too! It doesn't get much better than that. I hope you enjoy some of my favorites.

In this image, I told C he could attempt/pretend to hit me with the stick. He thought that was pretty awesome.

I loved this next one in black and white. It shows each of their personalities perfectly.

Autumn Sessions

Today is the first day of Fall! Autumn is my favorite season and I've been looking forward to the change of seasons for weeks now. The leaves have started to turn and it's the perfect time for family pictures! A+N+K+R+Lavender Fields

A few weeks ago, A, N, K, R, and I did a shoot in the lavender fields. It was a beautiful day and these kids were such fun to photograph. They all have the most gorgeous eyelashes. I am quite envious!

A=Cherub

A is a delightful little girl. She was a joy to shoot and we had a lot of fun. A is a bit of a performer. She sang "Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It)" and she did her "witch laugh" for me. She's a sweet little cherub, isn't she?!

M+J+N

Here are some pictures of M, J, and N. Dora the Explorer was rumored to be in the area . N was hoping to find her. They may or may not have been successful.

R+Z+W

This little family is adorable. I love W's chunky cherub cheeks. I just want to pinch them! He was such a happy baby, giggling and squealing with delight.

Btw, today is my 100th post!! Not too shabby since my 6 month mark was on Tuesday. Here's to 100 more!

A=Adorable

This little boy is adorable. A has the cutest dimples and rich brown eyes. Below you can see he gets the dimples from his mother. They are a sweet little family.

Brooklyn Bridge

Today, I thought I'd share a photo I took of Brooklyn Bridge. It really is a beautiful bridge. A bit busy at times, but beautiful nonetheless. Also, it doesn't hurt that the best pizza place in New York just happens to be about 100 feet away.
