Have you guys heard of babyphotographers.com? Baby Photographers is a really great resource for parents. This ingenious website helps parents find the perfect photographer that fits their personal style, budget, and location. It also helps describe the custom photography process as well as other children related tips.

Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution

Au Naturel

The May issue of Marie Claire features images of Jessica Simpson without make-up or Photoshop retouching. With all the terrible focus on her weight last year, this is an incredible step in Simpson's journey to find true beauty. It takes real courage to publish images that aren't retouched and that show her without makeup and air-dried hair. I think the images are beautiful.

Handmade Writer

A couple days ago, I learned about a new e-course called Handmade Writer. The purpose of the course is to "take a crafty approach to creative writing and use the fabric of your life to tell your own extraordinary stories." The course has been inspired by the crafting community and hopes to "transform everyday finds into something amazing." Handmade Writer will be led by Amy Spencer, an author, workshop leader and crafter.

Sounds pretty cool right?! I think it's important to record the wonders that are around you whether that's through writing, photography, etc. The nice thing about this course is it's designed to help people become better writers as well as motivate them to find the time to write. Daily life tends to distract me from things so I generally need some sort of motivator! This e-course also uses a private online community space so feedback can be given by the instructor as well as fellow participants.

Handmade Writer starts on April 12th. It lasts for six weeks and costs £60. If you are interested in participating, you can register here.

The Nuddle?!

Seriously?? Over the weekend, I was looking at the new Lonny magazine, and saw an ad for the Nuddle. "(Nap + Cuddle= Nuddle)" At first I thought it was a joke. "The Blanket Hollywood comes home to." But alas.... it's for real.  It's basically a "Snuggie" with a pocket for your feet and a pouch for your hands. Now I have bad circulation, like most girls, so cold feet is a pretty common occurrence. However, I still don't understand why a regular blanket, socks, slippers, bathrobe, sweatshirt, etc, aren't sufficient. (BTW, the adult sized Nuddle retails for $68. Yikes!) I thought the Snuggie phenomenon was a bit crazy. People seem to love them but I just can't seem to jump on that bandwagon. Maybe I'm silly. Don't knock it 'till you try it, right? Well I still think I'd rather just put on a sweatshirt. Also, those photos just make me giggle. Sorry but nobody looks sexy in a blanket with pockets... Any thoughts? Do you love your Snuggie or your Nuddle?
