Blogger Sweet Paul has a lovely online magazine also by the same name. The second issue came out today. It's filled with delectable looking recipes. Definitely eat something before you read the new issue! I hadn't and when I saw the Salted Caramel Chocolate Cake, let's just say it was a bit torturous.

National S'mores Day!

Today is National S'mores Day! What a great excuse to make S'mores right?! I found some great variations of the campfire classic: S'mores Cheesecake, S'mores Sundaes, Bite-size S'mores, and S'mores Mini Cakes.

BTW, in my search for new recipes, I came across Mozzarella "S'mores" made with sun-dried tomatoes, basil, mozzarella, and grilled bread. Yum!

I love these Ice Pop Makers from IKEA. They are a steal for $1.99! Epicurious has recipes for homemade popsicles. I think I'll have to try the orange and mango.

Have you ever heard about Ming Makes Cupcakes? I hadn't! Ashley of Hither and Thither recently posted about these fabulous cupcakes. I haven't really been a huge cupcake fan. I enjoy them but let's be honest, any dessert will do. Well, I may have to try these recipes. Don't they look absolutely fantastic?!

Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution

Luscious Coconut Desserts

I've decided I really, really need Luscious Coconut Desserts by Lori Longbotham. I already own Luscious Chocolate Desserts and Luscious Lemon Desserts. I've already posted about one here. Both are incredible cookbooks. Can you imagine over 60 recipes of coconut-based deliciousness? I can and I don't think I can hold out much longer! The cookbook was released last month. Has anyone gotten it yet??

Shamrocks and Irish Soda Bread

Happy St. Patrick's Day! I love this holiday! Every year, my family has a St. Patrick's Day dinner that consists of corned beef, cabbage, carrots, and Irish soda bread. This year I was looking on Epicurious and found an article entitled The Great Irish Soda Bread Debate. Apparently, Irish soda bread made with caraway seeds and raisins isn't really traditional at all!  The article goes on about the history and it also has seven recipes for different types of soda bread. Out of the seven variations, Bon Appétit's Irish Soda Bread with Raisins and Caraway and Soda Bread with Dark Chocolate and Candied Orange Peel recipes sound quite delicious.

Girl Scout Cookies!

It's that time of year again!! Girl Scout Cookies have arrived. I realized a few days ago that I hadn't placed an order this year. Well if you neglected to order some too, then you're in luck! I found this Girl Scout Cookies website that helps you to "Find Cookies Now!" So if you don't know a local trooper, they'll send your email address and a phone number to a member of your local council. BTW, I was on the Girl Scout blog and saw this vintage picture of Blondie. I thought it was pretty cool.
